Raiders vs. Steelers: Oakland running away with big halftime lead

Pittsburgh can’t put together a successful drive on Sunday as the Raiders lead by nearly three scores going into the break.

If the Steelers want to win their third game in a row, they're going to need to play much differently in the second half against the Raiders. Pittsburgh (2-4) has not been able to mount any offensive attack as the team trails, 21-3, in Oakland at halftime. The Steelers have just 90 yards of offense through two quarters.

The Raiders (2-4) have put up 245 yards of offense, including 109 rushing yards from quarterback Terrelle Pryor, 93 of which came on a single touchdown run in the first quarter. Through the air, Pryor is just 7-of-13 passing for 62 yards, no touchdowns, and two interceptions, but it's the ground game that has Oakland up by 18 points.

Running back Darren McFadden has 56 rushing yards and two touchdowns. The Steelers have not had much of any production on the ground themselves.

Rookie running back Le'Veon Bell has five carries for eight yards and backup Felix Jones has one carry for minus-one yards. The score could be even more heavily in Oakland's favor if not for those two turnovers, but Pittsburgh is also going to have to find a way to score some points if it wants to mount a comeback.

Kicker Shaun Suisham missed a 34-yard field goal for the Steelers just before halftime.
