New York Jets quarterback Geno Smith has been pulled from Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals following three quarters of poor play filled with turnovers and ineffectiveness.

Smith struggled with the Bengals defense and was unable to find his footing with a subpar group of receivers. His day ended with 159 yards passing on 30 attempts, including two interceptions, both of which were returned for touchdowns. The team managed to score nine points on three field goals before turning to Matt Simms to close out the game.

The New York Jets are coming off a big win over the New England Patriots and Sunday's game has proven to be a bizarre contrast from the team's excellent play a week ago. Defensively, the Jets have allowed Andy Dalton to have a career game, while rookie cornerback Dee Milliner has been manhandled by Marvin Jones to the tune of four touchdowns.

It’s been a bad day for Jets rookies, and a bad day in general. They trail Cincinnati, 49-9, in the dying moments of the game.
