Adam ‘Pacman’ Jones threatens Jets WR David Nelson

Adam Jones reportedly told David Nelson “I’m going to find out where you live and come and get you” during Sunday’s game because of perceived dirty play from the wideout.

Adam "Pacman" Jones made the sort of threat to David Nelson normally quarantined to the drooling class of Twitter users who overreact when NFL players fail to come through for their fantasy teams.

Jones was upset with Nelson for perceived dirty play, and told the New York Jets wideout "I'm going to find out where you live and come and get you," a source told the New York Daily News. Jones told the Cincinnati Bengals official website that Nelson was taking cheap shots.

“(Nelson) was playing dirty,” Jones said. “He cut me like four times after the play. Thank God I took my medicine today — I guess —- and I didn’t go off. Hopefully, he’ll get fined. At least three fines. There were three real cheap shots after the play.”

Jones’ words comes off as perhaps a little over-aggressive. The threat came in-game, so there’s a chance the league takes a look at the incident and chalks it up to passion running wild in the heat of the moment. In Jones’ defense, he did try to bring up Nelson’s play with head coach Rex Ryan during the Bengals’ blowout win.

“(Ryan) told me to shut the hell up,” Jones said. “It was something like 35-6.”

According to Pro Football Talk, the league is reviewing Nelson’s alleged cheap shots and Jones’ comments to see whether disciplinary action is necessary. Jones had an interception return for a touchdown during the game.
