The Denver Broncos won on Sunday against the Washington Redskins, but lost an important player in tight end Julius Thomas.
AFC West injuries, Week 8: Julius Thomas, Jamaal Charles banged up
The division saw some big names go down on Sunday, with one staying out of the game for good.


Thomas left the game in the third quarter with an ankle injury. The tight end was not able to come back into the game and is scheduled to undergo an MRI on Monday to discover the severity of the issue. Denver also watched safety Duke Ihenacho go down with an ankle injury of his own. After the contest, Ihenacho was seen walking out of the stadium with a walking boot on.
Peyton Manning, who entered the game with an injured ankle, was able to play without displaying a limp and threw for four touchdowns, albeit along with three interceptions.
As for the undefeated Kansas City Chiefs, they received a scare when running back Jamaal Charles left in the third quarter with a knee ailment. However, Charles was able to return and finish the game without looking any worse for wear.
