The Cincinnati Bengals destroyed the New York Jets at Paul Brown Stadium on Sunday, winning 49-9 to run their record to 6-2. However, Cincinnati lost multiple players to injury in the contest.
AFC North injuries, Week 8: Cincinnati Bengals become MASH unit
Despite winning by 40 points, the Bengals have concerns after watching a bevy of starters go down.


Linebacker Rey Maualuga went down with a concussion and knee injury in the first half. He was carted off the field and obviously did not return. Safety Taylor Mays also was forced to leave in the second quarter with a shoulder injury, not coming back to action.
Offensive lineman Andrew Whitworth and wide receiver Mohamed Sanu also had to exit the game early and did not make their way back to the field. Whitworth had to leave with a knee injury.
Elsewhere, the Pittsburgh Steelers lost offensive linemen Guy Whimper and David DeCastro, who are both scheduled to undergo MRIs. Ramon Foster went down with a concussion, giving Whimper playing time before he hurt his knee in the second half. DeCastro was lost with an ankle injury, not to return.
The Cleveland Browns lost wide receiver/kick returner Travis Benjamin in the third quarter against the Kansas City Chiefs to a knee injury.
