C.J. Spiller will suit up for Thursday night's game between the Buffalo Bills and the Cleveland Browns, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Earlier in the day, Spiller was considered a true game-time decision due to a nagging ankle injury he suffered during the Bills' win over the Baltimore Ravens last week. Spiller was held out of practice Monday and Tuesday before returning as a limited participant Wednesday.

How much Spiller plays against the Browns remains to be seen. In addition to being hobbled, he hasn't been as effective as many expected this season, especially coming off a year during which he averaged 6.0 yards per carry. This year, he is averaging 3.5 YPC through four games, while backfield mate Fred Jackson is averaging 5.3 YPC. Spiller has 66 carries on the season to 48 for Jackson, but Jackson has 256 yards rushing to 230 for Spiller.
Both could struggle against what has been a stout Browns defense so far in 2013. The Browns are giving up just 79 yards per game on the ground at a league-low 2.9 yards per carry.
