Jonathan Martin injury: Dolphins OT declared out vs. Bengals

The Dolphins will be without right tackle Jonathan Martin on Thursday night.

The Dolphins have announced that they have downgraded right tackle Jonathan Martin from doubtful to out for Thursday's game against the Bengals. Martin has been out of practice all this week after the player reportedly had an "emotional breakdown."

Martin started the season as the Dolphins left tackle, but the entire offensive line failed to protect Ryan Tannehill from opposing pass rushers. The Dolphins traded for veteran Bryant McKinnie and made him the blindside protector while moving Martin to right tackle. Fox Sports' Jay Glazer (via Pro Football Talk) reported Tuesday that Martin was teased by his teammates, who jokingly refused to sit with the second-year player. Martin slammed a tray of food on the ground and left the facility. He has been AWOL ever since.

Former starting right tackle Tyson Clabo will move back to the spot in Martin's absence. The veteran started the first six games of season but was benched following the trade for McKinnie.
