The Cincinnati Bengals and Miami Dolphins are putting on a frightening display on Halloween.

The Cincinnati Bengals and Miami Dolphins are playing sloppy, mistake-filled football on Thursday night. One half is in the books with the Dolphins holding a narrow 10-3 lead, spurred by a Ryan Tannehill goal-line sneak.

All three phases are under-performing for both teams. Two drives have been derailed by fumbles, and neither team was able to capitalize. Cameron Wake sacked Andy Dalton and forced one turnover, giving the Dolphins excellent field position before their subsequent drive stalled and Caleb Sturgis missed a 34-yard field goal.

It appeared Miami would score its first points on a 41-yard run by Lamar Miller, only to see the ball knocked loose in the end zone. Adam Jones ended up returning the fumble 43 yards, making the game's most impressive play a turnover that found the ball practically where it started.

The winner will likely be determined by whoever can settle down and play conservative football in the second half.
