Steven Jackson injury: Falcons RB out for Monday Night Football
Steven Jackson has been ruled out for Week 5 and will miss his third game in a row.

Jackson hasn't played since suffering a hamstring injury in Week 2's win over the St. Louis Rams. He has yet to practice and the Falcons still don't have a timetable for his return, although he could be back sometime after their Week 6 bye. In the two games he has played, Jackson has 14 carries for 77 yards and six catches for 53 yards and a touchdown. The Rams signed the 30-year-old to a three-year deal in the offseason.
Jacquizz Rodgers and Jason Snelling will continue filling in for Jackson. Rodgers has been getting the majority of snaps and has 38 carries for 134 yards, adding 94 yards on 13 receptions. Snelling is the main short yardage back, recording 98 yards and a touchdown on 21 carries.
