Blaine Gabbert injury: Jaguars QB leaves with hamstring injury, will not return
Jacksonville’s starting QB has two interceptions on Sunday as his team trails by two touchdowns in St. Louis.
Jaguars quarterback Blaine Gabbert suffered a hamstring injury against the Rams on Sunday and will not return. Chad Henne replaced him in the third quarter with Jacksonville trailing 24-10.
Gabbert was 9-of-19 for 181 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions -- one of which was returned for a Rams touchdown and one of which occurred in the St. Louis end zone as Jacksonville was threatening. The quarter has thrown for one touchdown and seven interceptions on the season.
Henne hasn’t been much better, throwing one touchdown and two interceptions in his three games this year.
The Jaguars are hoping to win their first game of the season. There is still plenty of time left in St. Louis, but they will have to do it without Gabbert.
Gabbert missed two games earlier this year with a lacerated hand.
