The San Francisco 49ers hammered the Houston Texans under the bright lights of Candlestick Park, winning 34-3 on Sunday night.
Texans vs. 49ers 2013: Tramaine Brock breaks out for San Fran
San Francisco showed up Sunday night and waxed the lifeless Texans.

San Francisco and Houston entered the game 2-2, despite both being favored by many experts before the season to reach the Super Bowl. The 49ers appear back on track with two consecutive wins, including the pounding of Houston it executed in front of a national audience.
David Fucillo of Niners Nation talked about one unsung player who made a big difference:
The defense was loaded with stars on Sunday, but Tramaine Brock deserves as much credit as anybody. He opened the game with a pick-six on the third play to give the 49ers the lead. He added another interception later, and generally had a second straight strong game of coverage. He would seem to have earned the Week 6 nickel work, and now we have to wonder how long before it is officially his job to lose. It very well could already be at that point.
The Texans are reeling after three straight losses. Quarterback Matt Schaub threw another interception that returned for a score, his fourth in as many games. Schaub tossed two more interceptions -- including one to a nose tackle -- and was finally pulled for backup T.J. Yates in the fourth quarter. Head coach Gary Kubiak says Schaub will remain the starter.
Over at Battle Red Blog, it has predictably gone sour for the Texans faithful:
To all of those who will talk in the comments about how the Houston Texans need to give T.J. Yates or Case Keenum a shot, I'll say why bother? At this rate, head coach Gary Kubiak and quarterback Matt Schaub, along with countless numbers of others, will not be part of this franchise next year.
Next week, the 49ers play host to the Arizona Cardinals while the Texans are at home against the St. Louis Rams.
