NFL picks, Week 6: Saints, Broncos, Chiefs try to stay unbeaten

Only three teams in the NFL are still without a loss. Does our panel of experts think they will stay that way?

Jim Brown-USA TODAY Sports

The first five weeks of the NFL season have been a disappointment for fans of the winless Pittsburgh Steelers and New York Giants. On the other hand, it's been a pleasant surprise for anyone rooting for the Kansas City Chiefs and the New Orleans Saints, exceeding preseason expectations as two of the three remaining undefeated teams. Will fortunes change for any of those teams in Week 6?

The New England Patriots play host to the Saints, who are trying to run their record to 6-0. New England on the other hand is simply trying to avoid a two-game losing streak, something that is not a regular occurrence under Bill Belichick's watch. Kansas City has a favorable matchup at home against the Raiders. The unbeaten Broncos have it especially easy with a home game against the hapless Jaguars; Denver is favored by a historic 28 points.

Among the winless teams, the Giants have a tall order against the Bears. Pittsburgh has a shot to put its first notch in the win column with a game against the Vikings.

Another one to watch among the early slate of games, the Baltimore Ravens travel to Lambeau Field to take on the Green Bay Packers. With both teams already sporting two losses, this is an important contest to keep an eye on.

Joel and Jason were last week’s best prognosticators, going 9-5. Stephen and David went 8-6, while Ryan trailed the pack at 7-7.
