Robison was in the final year of his contract and was set to become a free agent in 2014. The Vikings would not let him make it that far. Robison was selected in the fourth round of the 2007 NFL Draft and has spent his entire career with the Vikings. Over six years, he has recorded 30 sacks, nine forced fumbles and 101 tackles. He played a mostly rotational role in his first four seasons, but earned a starting job in 2011 and hasn't given it up since.

The 30-year-old has continued his production in the 2013 season. Through five games, he has one sack, 10 tackles and a fumble recovered for a touchdown.
