Eagles vs. Packers 2013 results: Philadelphia drops Rodgers-less Packers, 27-13

Seneca Wallace was knocked out of the game early, and Scott Tolzien couldn’t keep pace with Nick Foles and the streaking Eagles.

The Green Bay Packers are really missing Aaron Rodgers.

With backup Seneca Wallace sidelined with a leg injury, Scott Tolzien struggled to keep pace with Nick Foles and the Philadelphia Eagles and the Packers dropped their second consecutive game, 27-13.

Wallace, filling in for the injured Rodgers, was knocked out of the game in the first quarter with a groin injury. Tolzien, who was promoted from the practice squad earlier in the week, went 24-of-39 for 280 yards and a touchdown, but threw a pair of costly interceptions.

Foles, who had seven touchdowns a week ago against the Raiders, continued his hot streak, throwing three more scores. He now has 10 touchdowns and 634 yards over the last two weeks.

DeSean Jackson scored on a 55-yard pass and Riley Cooper went in from 45 yards out as the Eagles built a 20-3 lead midway through the third quarter. Cooper then scored his second touchdown of the day and his fifth in the last two weeks when he took a pass into the end zone for a 32-yard score.

Tolzien hit Brandon Bostick for a 22-yard touchdown with 3:29 remaining in the third to cut the lead to 20-10. It appeared he had hit Jordy Nelson for a touchdown several minutes later, but officials reviewed the play and ruled it an incompletion.

The win puts the Eagles at 5-5, while the Packers drop to 5-4.

Fantasy studs and duds

Foles was brilliant yet again this week, despite playing with a lead and only attempting 18 passes. He racked up 228 yards and three touchdowns. Cooper is emerging as his favorite target and had three catches for 102 yards and two scores.

Eddie Lacy struggled a bit carrying the team with Rodgers out. He had 73 yards, no touchdowns and averaged just 3 yards per carry. Jarrett Boykin was the most productive Packer, grabbing eight receptions for 112 yards.

Injury report

Wallace injured his groin early and did not return. It's unclear if he'll be back under center next week. The Packers also lost center Evan Dietrich-Smith and cornerback Casey Hayward.

Eagles tackle Jason Peters returned from a head injury in the first half only to leave with a leg injury moments later. Linebacker Mychal Kendricks was also knocked out of the game.

Did they cover?

The Eagles entered the day as 1.5-point favorites, according to OddsShark.com, and easily covered the spread.
