Seneca Wallace injury: Packers QB replaced by Scott Tolzien

Wallace has been forced to the sideline with a groin injury.

First the Green Bay Packers lost All Pro Aaron Rodgers with a fractured collarbone. Now they've lost his backup, Seneca Wallace.

Wallace has left the field against the Philadelphia Eagles in the first quarter and is being treated for a groin injury on the sideline. Whether he will be able to return is unkown. Wallace injured himself rolling out to his right attempting to extend a play. He was 5-of-5 before leaving.

Scott Tolzien has replaced him at quarterback. He was promoted to the active roster from the practice squad following Rodgers's injury.

Head coach Mike McCarthy aknowleged some concern over Tolzien’s readiness earlier this week.

“We need to get Scott involved in the drives and give him a little bit, too, because you’ve got to make sure your No. 2 is ready,” McCarthy said, according to the Daily Herald.

Tolzien threw an interception in the endzone in the second quarter.

Tolzien is now the only healthy quarterback for the Packers. Even their emergency quarterback, Randall Cobb is injured, as he broke his leg several weeks back. The emergency quarterback for Sunday is fullback John Kuhn.
