Calvin Johnson sets more records in win over Bears

Your weekly reminder that Megatron is really, really good.

To say that Calvin Johnson had another good game feels almost redundant at this point, but that's what he did against the Chicago Bears in Week 10. Megatron hauled in six catches for 83 yards and two touchdowns, helping the Lions beat the Bears and move into first place in the NFC North. He also set some more records along the way.

Johnson caught his first touchdown in the third quarter, bringing him to 62 for his career. That tied Herman Moore for the most receiving touchdowns in Lions franchise history. Johnson would later break that record late in the game with the game-winning score.

Johnson also moved past Randy Moss for the second-most receiving yards through his first 100 games. He now has 8,740 yards in his seven-year NFL career. By comparison, Jerry Rice had 8,488 yards in his first 100 game and went on to finish with 22,895.

There’s no question that Megatron is the best receiver in the game right now. It’s now time to start wondering if he will be one of the greatest of all time. Still only 28, he has a lot of great football left in him.
