John Fox hopes to attend Broncos-Chiefs game in Week 11

The Broncos coach would like to be in a luxury box when Denver tries to knock off its division rival.

Ron Chenoy-USA TODAY Sports

Denver Broncos head coach John Fox will not be on the sidelines anytime soon as he recovers from heart surgery, but he does hopes to be in attendance when his team takes on the Kansas City Chiefs come Sunday night, per the Denver Post.

Fox missed the contest against the San Diego Chargers over the weekend, still trying to get back to full health after feeling short of breath over Denver's bye week and ultimately needing aortic valve replacement surgery. Fox will need permission from his doctors to let him attend the primetime affair on Sunday, but it is something he hopes to do.

Fox was awarded the game ball by the Broncos after beating the Chargers 28-20. Defensive coordinator Jack Del Rio has taken over the team on an interim basis.
