It hasn't been the best of months for the Dolphins, who have actually made the Greg Schiano-led Bucs look like the somewhat normal organization of the two on display on MNF. Miami is already without starters Jonathan Martin and Richie Incognito on the offensive line, and they probably should have lost center Mike Pouncey on their opening series.
Dolphins Mike Pouncey avoids ejection after punching Akeem Spence
Somehow, the Dolphins center was not sent to the showers early for this.

Pouncey, a noted Incognito enthusiast, got into it with Tampa Bay defensive lineman Akeem Spence, with both guys going high towards the end of the play. But Pouncey took it an extra step, grabbing Spence's facemask with one hand and then winding up to finish off the confrontation with a punch to the side of the helmet.
That would seem to be an instant ejection, but Pouncey was only whistled for a 15-yard penalty for a “blow to the head.” The Dolphins aren’t doing much early on the field to dispel the notion that their team is a spiraling dumpsterfire of dysfunction.
