There are no more winless teams in the NFL! One day after the Jags finally broke through, the Bucs knocked off a spiraling Dolphins team on another ugly Monday night.
Mike Glennon helps Bucs pick up first win

Kim Klement-USA TODAY SportsHe was far from it, in fact. A handful of his passes were inaccurate, he occasionally moved around awkwardly in and around the pocket, and his final stat line (53 percent completion percentage, 139 yards, one touchdown, one interception) was far from ideal.
To Glennon’s credit, he’s steadily improved and been more in control than most expected this early. While it’s too early to call him the future of the franchise, it’s not fair to write him off, either. His arm has been every bit as live as expected based on Glennon’s time at North Carolina State. He’s able to stretch the field and take advantage of a few of the offensive weapons Tampa has left.

Kim Klement-USA TODAY SportsDolphins head coach Joe Philbin has had better months, and things continued to get worse on Monday Night Football when the previously winless Bucs pushed the Dolphins to 4-5.
Down three, Miami did get the ball with about two minutes to go and relatively good field position for a shot to move into field goal territory. But back-to-back sacks resulted in a fourth-and-28 situation, prompting this look from a confused coach who had seen enough:

Kim Klement-USA TODAY SportsThe game couldn’t have started off much better for the Bucs, who drove 76 yards on the opening possession to take a 7-0 lead. Two field goals and a safety later, the Bucs were up 15-0 early in the second quarter, and appeared on their way to their first win of the season. The lead didn’t last long, however, with Miami scoring 19 unanswered points to go up 19-15 at the end of three quarters.
Tampa Bay dominated the game in the trenches, outrushing the Dolphins, 140-2. With the win, there are no winless teams left in the NFL. Miami dropped to 4-5 on the season and has now lost five of its last six games.

The Buccaneers blasted the Dolphins early on Monday night, jumping to a 15-0 lead in a game that looked like it could become a runaway. But the Bucs are the Bucs, a band of Schiano men who are winless for a reason.
And it all quickly came unraveled in the second half, resulting in another montage of pained and incredulous fans. This gentlemen best sums up how things turned:

Mike EhrmannRyan Tannehill is the quarterback for the Miami Dolphins. His name is pronounced “Tan-uh-hill.”
Jon Gruden, whose job it is to say the names of NFL players, amongst other things, was unaware of this. He appears to think his name is pronounced “Tanny-hill.” Also, it’s important to note that he’s sitting next to Mike Tirico, who continues to pronounce Tannehill’s name, you know, correctly.

Kim Klement-USA TODAY SportsThis isn’t the first time the Bucs have jumped out to a lead this season. Tampa Bay was up 21-0 early and 21-7 at halftime last week against Seattle before ultimately losing, 27-24, in overtime.
Miami will receive the second-half kickoff.

Robert Mayer-USA TODAY SportsThat would seem to be an instant ejection, but Pouncey was only whistled for a 15-yard penalty for a “blow to the head.” The Dolphins aren’t doing much early on the field to dispel the notion that their team is a spiraling dumpsterfire of dysfunction.

Sometimes, we bend the rules of what we mean when we say #FatGuyTouchdown. A linebacker or a defensive end picks off a pass or scoops a fumble and runs to the end, and because they are not running backs or wide receiver, we hit them with the #FatGuyTouchdown mantle, even though they’re hyper-athletic and everything.
To kick off Monday Night Football, we got a legitimate #FatGuyTouchdown -- and better yet, it was a honest-to-goodness receiving touchdown, not just a lucky bounce.

Remember, we live in a society in which “Free Aaron Hernandez” paraphernalia exists. So it’s hardly surprising that people are taking their support for Richie Incognito public with “Free Incognito” signs:
That guy is a lot less fun than the last Tampa primetime crowd.

It can be easy to forget that within the next two or three months, a considerable number of NFL jobs will become available, because a considerable number of coaches and front office employees, will be fired.

Steve Mitchell-USA TODAY SportsAnother week, another second-half meltdown. The Bucs were on their way to pulling off the upset of the year after taking a 21-0 lead over the Seahawks on the road. Things fell apart down the stretch, and the Seahawks scored 20 unanswered points to win in overtime.
That leaves the Bucs winless on the season and their fans looking towards the draft. If the season ended today, Tampa would have the No. 1 pick.

Chris TrotmanNeither team has been consistent against the spread this season. The Buccaneers are 2-6 against it this season, and Miami is split down the middle at 4-4 against the spread.
Miami is 1-3 against the Buccaneers since 1997, and 0-4 against the spread when playing Tampa Bay in that span. In addition, the Dolphins are 1-4 against the spread in their last five games overall, and 1-6 against the spread in their last seven against the Buccaneers. Further mucking up the picture is the fact that the Buccaneers are 5-18-1 against the spread as home underdogs since 2006, and are 1-5 against the spread over their last six games on Monday Night Football.

Steve Mitchell-USA TODAY SportsThe SB Nation panel of six has taken all of the aforementioned information into consideration when making the picks for the game. With that in mind, the panel has swayed toward the road team, voting 5-1 in favor of the Dolphins. The sole pick for the Buccaneers is from Matt Ufford of Uffsides.
While it would not seem logical for a group of analysts to side with the 0-8 Buccaneers, CBS Sports’ eight-man panel has done just that. With and without the spread, the panel picked Tampa Bay to upset the Dolphins at home.

Chris TrotmanThe Dolphins are 4-4 against the spread this season, much like their overall record. Averaging 21.75 points per game, the Dolphins are struggling as they allow 23.38 on defense. The Dolphins have faced the Buccaneers only four times in their history, and are just 1-3 against their interstate rivals.
The Buccaneers are 0-8 on the year, but are 2-6 against the spread. Tampa Bay is averaging just 15.5 points per game but are giving up 23.75 to opposing offenses.
