The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are no longer winless. On Monday night, Tampa Bay topped the Miami Dolphins 22-19 at Raymond James Stadium, earning an upset.
Dolphins vs. Buccaneers 2013: MIami ‘pathetic’ in defeat
Tampa Bay earned its first victory and put a serious dent in Miami’s playoff chances.

The Buccaneers jumped out to a 15-0 lead in the first half and looked to be cruising over a Dolphins team which has been dealing with the Richie Incognito/Jonathan Martin issue all week. Then Miami came roaring back, with 19 unanswered points to take the lead in the fourth quarter. Tampa Bay eventually would score the final points of the game on a Bobby Rainey 1-yard touchdown run.
Over at Bucs Nation, Lee Caswell writes about the defense putting an end to the losing:
The defense came up with a huge stop to finally close out a game this year. They managed to sack Tannehill on back-to-back plays and Revis recorded an interception to put the lock on it.
Meanwhile, the loss is nothing short of crushing for coach Joe Philbin and the Dolphins. Miami now sits at 4-5 and a full game behind the New York Jets for the final wild card spot in the AFC.
There is plenty of time to make up the ground and two more games between the Jets and Dolphins, but this is a game which could haunt them for a long time.
Kevin Nogle of The Phinsider could not contain his anger afterwards:
To express how miserable that game was, Miami finished it with two yards rushing. Two.
More will come later. I’m done for now. That was pathetic.
