Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Dwayne Bowe was arrested on Sunday night for possession of marijuana after being pulled over for speeding, according to Arrowhead Pride.
Dwayne Bowe arrested for marijuana possession
Before the biggest game of the season, the Chiefs star receiver got in trouble with the law.

Bowe was pulled over by Riverside, MO police for driving 48 MPH in a 35 MPH zone. Upon being stopped, the officer on the scene smelled marijuana and asked for Bowe and the two passengers to step out of the vehicle. After the inspection, 14.6 grams of marijuana were discovered.
A black backpack held 4.2 of those grams, which one passenger, George A. Thompson, claimed was his.
Bowe was arrested on the scene and charged with speeding and possession of a controlled substance. He was later released from custody on $750 bail. He currently has a court date set for Dec. 18.
General manager John Dorsey said he was aware of the arrest but has no comment. Bowe has been suspended by the NFL before, banned four games for violating the steroid policy. Whether or not Bowe will be suspended by the league for this is uncertain. Since he has not failed a drug test, it is not automatic.
