- Free-agent safety Michael Huff is working out for the Dallas Cowboys on Tuesday. A former first-round pick with the Oakland Raiders, Huff started the season with the Baltimore Ravens before being waived a couple weeks ago. He had a workout with the Cincinnati Bengals last week. The Cowboys are looking for any kind of help for their league-worst passing defense.
- The Bengals worked out defensive linemen Marcus Dixon, Ra'Shon Harris, Zach Minter and Aston Whiteside. They ended up signing Whiteside. Cincinnati is still looking for help on the defensive line after losing Geno Atkins for the season. All four free agents are minor rotational pieces.
- The Arizona Cardinals tried out centers Matt Stankiewitch and Elliot Mealer. Stankiewitch is an undrafted rookie who was waived by the Patriots at final roster cuts. Mealer is another UDFA.
- The Jacksonville Jagusrs worked out running backs Delone Carter, Montario Hardesty and Robert Hughes. Hardesty is the most notable name, having spent the last two seasons with the Cleveland Browns. Carter signed with the Ravens in the offseason and was waived at final cuts. Hughes is a strict fullback.
