Falcons fullback Jason Snelling was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana on Friday morning, according to a report from Lona Panter of the Barrow County News.

Snelling was reportedly pulled over early Friday morning and has received a charge of marijuana possession, among other charges.

Snelling’s vehicle also had no valid insurance, and the registration for his car was expired.
Snelling told the officer that he had been smoking marijuana earlier in the evening and was traveling home, according to the police report. He also reportedly had marijuana in the car.
Snelling was charged with possession of marijuana - less than one ounce, possession of drug related materials, expired or no driver’s license, failure to maintain lane, failure to maintain insurance, improper use of dealer license plate and no registration.
A seventh-round selection in the 2007 NFL Draft, Snelling has played his entire career with the Falcons. Through eight games with the team in 2013, Snelling has taken 36 carries for 132 yards and a touchdown. Snelling is listed as questionable for the team's Week 11 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
