Injuries have ravaged the Falcons receiving corps in 2013. Roddy White has been dealing with a series of small problems, while Julio Jones was lost for the season with a foot injury that required surgery. This made Douglas the most-tenured receiver on the team, and he's responded to the pressure by becoming the Falcons' leader with 45 receptions and 620 yards -- including two 100 yard games against Arizona and Tampa Bay.

Atlanta is 2-7 this season after an offseason that held a lot of promise. It was believed the team could challenge for a Super Bowl, but age and injuries hurt the Falcons and caused them to play for 2014 in the hopes they can correct key issues at running back and  on the defensive line.
