The Buffalo Bills will have a hard time moving the ball through the air against the New York Jets with the news that wide receivers Stevie Johnson and Robert Woods will both be inactive on Sunday.

First-year head coach Doug Marrone has struggled on offense this season as the Bills rank 24th in points scored and 29th in passing yards. This will be compounded on Sunday without the two receivers. Buffalo has thrown for 1,922 yards this season, while Johnson and Woods represent almost half of the team’s total yards though the air.

It's assumed that T.J. Graham and Marcus Easley will start, but the team will heavily use third receiver Marquise Goodwin against the Jets. He has caught 10 passes for 180 yards and two touchdowns this season, representing the team's best deep threat.

The Bills are looking to get past the 2013 season in hopes of rebuilding their offense next year. Sunday’s game will be determined by how well Buffalo can run the ball against a stout Jets defensive line.
