The Chiefs have suffered a major blow to their defensive line on Sunday night. Defensive end Mike DeVito is out for the remainder of the AFC West clash between the Broncos and Chiefs due to a knee injury, according to NFL.com via Twitter. DeVito has started every game for the Chiefs this season heading into Week 11.

The Chiefs have lost a defensive lineman in their clash against the Broncos.


The former Jets lineman was signed by Kansas City in the offseason. DeVito has 20 tackles in nine starts for the Chiefs. He suffered the knee injury during the first half of the game against the Broncos for the lead in the AFC West. Third-year player, Anthony Toribio, is listed as DeVito's immediate backup on the Chiefs official depth chart.
The Chiefs are currently down to the Broncos by a score of 17-7. The winner of the matchup will take the immediate lead over the AFC West entering Week 12 of the season.
