Jets vs. Ravens 2013 picks and predictions: Baltimore gets praise
In a game loaded with playoff implications, both teams will lean on their defenses to get the job done.

US PRESSWIRE
The Baltimore Ravens are hosting the New York Jets on Sunday afternoon at M&T Bank Stadium, with both looking to take a big step toward the postseason.
Baltimore is 4-6 and coming off an overtime loss to the Chicago Bears. The Ravens desperately need a win to stay in contention for the sixth and final seed in the AFC, and are facing the team currently standing in their way.
New York is 5-5 and also trying to rebound from a loss, albeit a 37-14 thrashing by the Buffalo Bills. Geno Smith had the worst performance of his young career, throwing three interceptions while completing only 8 of 23 passes.
Over at CBSSports.com, five of the eight experts believe the Ravens will cover the spread, with six thinking they will win outright. Our guys at SBNation.com have the Jets winning only twice out of six picks, and ESPN.com has all but Mike Ditka taking Baltimore out of 13 predictions.
