More on the matchup: The Chiefs and Chargers face off for the first time in 2013. Philip Rivers was near perfect in their last meeting, completing 90 percent of his passes in a 31-13 victory. Head coach Andy Reid has overhauled the Chiefs defense and paired with Alex Smith, they're a conservative and dangerous team. San Diego's ability to win hinges on whether the offensive line can protect Rivers, and whether the defense can stop Jamaal Charles.
