He stood out on a night Peyton Manning struggled to throw the football effectively and had become one of the Broncos' most-reliable offensive weapons this season.
Moreno amassed a total of 1,166 all-purpose yards this season, and Denver's ability to run a balanced offense will hinge on the severity of his injury. The team lacks a reliable running back to take over, with rookie Montee Ball the most likely candidate. Ball has had mixed success this year, running well against the Patriots but also contibuting a costly fumble.
