It's unclear if the move was prompted by an injury to Jason Campbell. Head coach Rob Chudzinski would not rule him out of the game on Sunday, but all signs point to Weeden making his fifth start of the season. Both quarterbacks played against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, and neither was successful.

Campbell had the better overall game, finishing with 124 passing yards before sustaining a head injury. Weeden completed 43-percent of his passes while throwing one touchdown and an interception. He was able to result in Cleveland’s only touchdown, but it came on a 1-yard pass with less than five minutes remaining in the game.
The Browns remain in the playoff hunt despite a 4-7 record and holding the last spot in the AFC North. Switching back to Weeden is a curious decision given his struggles in 2013, but the organization must think he gives them the best chance to win.
