Eagles vs. Raiders 2013 results: Nick Foles almost makes history in Eagles’ 49-20 win

After 60 minutes of football, Nick Foles has his name among NFL greats.

Nick Foles was historic in his return for the Philadelphia Eagles as he tied the NFL single-game record for touchdowns, throwing seven in a 49-20 rout of the Oakland Raiders.

There were questions whether Chip Kelly's offense was faltering, which are now dead and buried. Foles found seven different receivers on Sunday, five of whom caught touchdown passes, while DeSean Jackson and Riley Cooper both finished with over 125 yards receiving.

The Oakland Raiders did an excellent job of stopping a potent Eagles rushing attack, but it was a microscopic consolation prize as the passing game averaged 14.5 yards per attempt with Foles under center, while he completed 79 percent of his passes.

Terrelle Pryor played fairly well, but it's clear how many weapons this team is lacking. Before he left the game late with a knee injury, Pryor was once again the leading rusher with 94 yards before he left due to injury and was surpassed by Rashad Jennings and his 102 yards on the ground. Still, there was no hope the Raiders could keep in step with the Eagles offense once it got rolling. This was the Foles show; all the Oakland offense could do was witness it.

Fantasy studs and duds

Nick Foles was the fantasy stud of the week, regardless of the game. A monster afternoon for the Eagles quarterback.

Darren McFadden was the fantasy dud, finishing with five carries for 12 yards before leaving with an injury.

Injury report

Darren McFadden left the game in the first half, and it’s believed he aggravated a hamstring injury.

Terrelle Pryor left the game late in the fourth quarter and there is no further update on his status at this time.

Philadelphia Eagles offensive tackle Jason Peters tore his pectoral muscle, and was forced out.

Did they cover?

The Raiders were 1-point favorites, according to OddsShark. They lost outright, and did not cover.
