Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones believes defensive end DeMarcus Ware will be ready to play on Sunday against the New Orleans Saints, according to Nick Eatman.
Jerry Jones says DeMarcus Ware will play Sunday
The Cowboys owner believes his best defensive player will be back this week.

Ware has missed the past three games with a quad injury, with the Cowboys have a 2-1 mark with him on the sideline. However, the team has been barely holding onto the NFC East lead in recent weeks, blowing a brutal game to the Detroit Lions and then scrapping by in a 27-23 win over the lowly Minnesota Vikings.
Nobody has been more durable than Ware throughout his nine-year career. Since being drafted out of Troy in the first round of the 2005 NFL Draft, Ware had not missed a single game until this season. He also has been one of the best players in Cowboys history, amassing a team-record 115 sacks.
At 5-4, Dallas can certainly use the reinforcements on defense. The Cowboys have a tough road ahead, starting in the Superdome against the Saints and then taking on Eli Manning and the New York Giants in a suddenly important game.
