Still, despite the fact that the Raiders have a better record, the Giants are favored significantly. They opened as 7-point favorites, but the line has widened in their favor on most books, according to OddsShark. They could be had as high as 9-point favorites midweek.
Perhaps that’s because the Raiders just allowed NIck Foles to throw for a whopping seven touchdowns in a Week 9 beatdown, or maybe home-field advantage matters more when it’s two bad teams playing. Either way, that’s the way it looks to oddsmakers.
The over/under opened at 43 points and hasn’t changed much throughout the week. The total has gone under in four of Oakland’s last five games and in four of New York’s last six games.
