The Pittsburgh Steelers are off to a terrible start this year, especially by their own standards, going 2-6 in the first half of the season and ranking near the bottom in both scoring offense and scoring defense. With their age starting to show, is there enough left in the tank to beat the Buffalo Bills in Week 10?
NFL picks and predictions 2013, Bills vs. Steelers
Pittsburgh might be 2-6 this year, but most experts still think that’s enough to win at home against Buffalo.

Keepers Week 10
Matt Ufford offers you fantasy advice on Aaron Rodgers, finding a sub for Jamaal Charles and more.By their own standards, for a team that hasn’t posted a winning season since 2004, the Bills are probably happy with how things have gone thus far. Despite being 3-6, Buffalo wasn’t going into the season with much hope for a playoff berth and even with their rookie quarterback injured for nearly half the year, they’ve hung around with some of the games best.
Even beating the Carolina Panthers in Week 2, a team that now looks like one of the best in the NFL.
So if Buffalo can beat Carolina, can they go into Pittsburgh and do the same to Pittsburgh? Most experts still seem to favor the Steelers, but it’s closer than you might have expected going into the year when this game was on the schedule.
Here on SBNation, four of six on the experts panel are picking the Steelers to win. It’s nearly the same split over at CBS Sports, with six of eight experts choosing Pittsburgh to take care of business at home, with Jason La Canfora and Ryan Wilson taking the upset.
It’s not nearly as split at ESPN, where an “old school” mentality is heavily favoring the Steelers to win. Finally, Yahoo Sports has just a three-expert panel, and actually two of them are going with the Bills.
If Pittsburgh loses on Sunday, it’ll be hard for the team and the fans to expect. If Buffalo pulls it off, it’ll be just a little more icing on the cake towards a potentially-successful first season under head coach Doug Marrone.
