Atlanta is favored coming into the contest, laying a full touchdown, according to Oddsshark.com. The over/under is set at 51.
Both teams have truly been awful this season, with each coming off of a playoff berth and division title back in 2012. Now, Washington and Atlanta each sit at 3-10, eliminated from playoff contention and playing out the string. Worse yet for the Redskins, they do not even have their first round pick after dealing it to the St. Louis Rams as part of the Robert Griffin III trade.
Atlanta is coming off a tough 22-21 loss to the Green Bay Packers in which it blew a 21-10 halftime lead to Matt Flynn. The Falcons are simply trying to end the campaign strong before heading into the offseason. They can earn their fourth win of the year by extending the Redskins' losing streak to six.
