Despite being 4-10 and eliminated from playoff contention, Oakland Raiders running back Darren McFadden plans on playing Week 16, according to the Contra Costa Times.
Darren McFadden injury: Raiders RB expected to play in Week 16
Oakland’s running back is hoping to come back and finish the campaign strong.

McFadden has not played since Thanksgiving when he rushed for 13 yards on five carries before leaving with an ankle injury. The former first round pick out of Arkansas has only played in eight games this season, dealing with a variety of injuries.
It has been anything but the big year McFadden was hoping for before becoming a free agent, gaining 365 yards and scoring four touchdowns. The talent is undeniable, but so is the penchant for constantly being injured. Throughout his six-year career, McFadden has never played more than 13 games.
Only in 2010 did McFadden amass over 1,000 yards, gaining 1,157 yards. For his career in Oakland, McFadden has 22 touchdowns against 13 fumbles.
