The Dallas Cowboys are 7-7 and one game out of the NFC East lead, but head coach Jason Garrett appears to be firmly on the hot seat. General manager and owner Jerry Jones could fire Garrett if the Cowboys don't win the division and make the playoffs, Ed Werder is reporting.
Jerry Jones could fire Jason Garrett if Cowboys don’t make playoffs, report says
Dallas is currently one game behind Philadelphia for the NFC East lead.

The Cowboys have an opportunity to fight for their playoff spot as they control their own destiny in the NFC East. With games against Washington and Philadelphia left on their schedule (and a win against the Eagles already under their belt), Dallas simply has to win out to clinch a postseason opportunity -- and possibly save their head coach's job.
Rumors have been abound about Garrett’s job security, leaving Blogging the Boys to question whether or not the head coach has lost the locker room.
