    Now it will be time to figure out what player the Texans will target with the top pick. Most believe that the Texans will draft Louisville junior quarterback Teddy Bridgewater, should he enter the draft.

    What Houston does with the top pick could depend on who is hired as the new head coach. The Texans are reportedly negotiating a contract with current Penn State University head coach Bill O’Brien.

    Keenum, a rookie out of Houston, was a surprise starter for the team in Week 7, and threw for seven touchdowns against zero interceptions in his first three weeks. He leveled off a bit after that and finishes his rookie year with 1,760 yards passing, averaging 6.96 yards per attempt with nine touchdowns against six interceptions, and zero wins in eight starts for the hapless Texans.

    Houston has had the upper hand in the matchup recently, winning four of the last five games against the Titans, including the last three.

    It’s been a frustrating season for the Titans with a pair of three-game losing streaks killing any chance of contending for a playoff spot. Tennessee has won just two of its last seven games, with the two wins coming in narrow fashion against 4-11 Oakland and 4-11 Jacksonville.

    The Titans are the home team with the better record in this matchup, which is they are favored by 7.5 points by CBS Sports. For the CBS Sports panel, the points make it a split for the eight analysts. However, when picking straight up, seven of the eight picks went towards the Titans. CBS Sports writer Will Brinson was the sole analyst to stick with the Texans.

    The Showtime’s Inside the NFL panel, featuring Phil Simms, Cris Collinsworth and guest analyst Franco Harris, all picked Tennessee to win on Sunday. Our very own five-man SB Nation panel voted unanimously in favor of the Titans.

    “Both of the other guys have played a whole lot, and going into the last game, they give us the best opportunity,” Phillips said. “It just would be hard for T.J. to come in after not playing any the whole year.”

    Phillips said he’ll wait until later in the week to make a decision between the two.
