The Colts will close the regular season against the Jaguars on Sunday. The Colts can still get the third seed in the AFC playoffs with a win against the Jaguars and loss by the Bengals in Week 17. Indianapolis is coming off two straight wins, while Jacksonville has suffered two straight losses. The Jaguars have greatly improved as the season has progressed, but are still a while away from competing.
NFL picks and predictions, Jaguars vs. Colts 2013: AFC South battle with playoff positioning on the line
NFL experts are making their picks for Week 17’s matchup between the Jaguars and Colts.
Due to the Colts still having something on the line and playing at home, Indianapolis is favored by 11.5 points against Jacksonville, according to CBS Sports. For seven of the eight CBS Sports panelists, that spread is too high. However, when picking the game straight up, the Colts are favored in a clean sweep.
Showtime’s Inside the NFL crew is also giving the Colts a sweep in votes. Cris Collinsworth, Phil Simms and guest analyst Franco Harris all went with the Colts.
The SB Nation panel also voted unanimously in favor of Indianapolis.
