Stokley's career began with the Ravens and will end with the organization that selected him in the fourth round of the 1999 NFL draft. He won Super Bowl rings with Baltimore and Indianapolis, but is perhaps best known for his time in Denver, where Stokley started 22 of his career 44 starts.

His career ends with 397 receptions for 5,339 yards and 39 touchdowns. Stokley's best season came in 2004 with Peyton Manning in Indianapolis, where he caught 68 balls for 1,044 yards. It was a career defined as a journeyman veteran, playing for six teams across his time in the NFL.
Instead of discussing what could have been, the 15-year slot receiver was willing to take a shot at himself earlier this year.
During a practice with the Baltimore Ravens this year, Brandon Stokley made a self-deprecating observation about his NFL career.
“You know, there’s nobody who has played as long as me who has caught as few balls as me,” Stokley said with a laugh to his receivers coach Jim Hostler.
Stokley’s 2013 season was cut short by a concussion, the 15th in a career that made a living by lining up in the slot and taking hits over the middle of the field. He is now the 18th receiver in NFL history to play for 15 seasons.
