The Trojans will be without their starting center in 2014 as Marcus Martin declares for the NFL Draft.

Martin began his college career at left guard, but transitioned to center his junior season -- quickly becoming one of the team’s best offensive players. His decision to forgo his final year of eligibility is a surprise, but Martin’s stock is high after he was named to the All-Pac-12 first team, the only Trojan to make the list on offense.

The 6'3, 310-pound lineman has prototypical size at the position, but it's difficult to project where Martin will be selected in the 2014 draft. Center isn't a position that's heavily drafted, with only five taken in 2013 and only Travis Frederick being selected before the fourth round. Martin is a unique talent however, and NFL Draft Scout ranks him as the second-best center in the class.
