NFL referee Jeff Triplette is back to making controversial decisions.
Referee Jeff Triplette makes questionable call in Colts-Bengals game
Triplette’s controversial interpretation of a video review handed a Cincinnati a huge touchdown.

A week after being reprimanded by the league for a first down gaffe, Triplette made a questionable call Sunday when he awarded the Cincinnati Bengals a touchdown against the Indianapolis Colts after it seemed as though running back BenJarvus Green-Ellis was down short of the end zone.
On fourth-and-goal from the one-yard line late in the second quarter, Green-Ellis was ruled down by contact after he bounced into the end zone. The play was reviewed, but replay seemed to show a defender’s hand tripping up Green-Ellis by the foot and supporting the initial call. Triplette, however, determined Green-Ellis had not been contacted and overturned the call on the field, awarding the Bengals a touchdown and a 14-0 lead.
