Josh Gordon has another explosive game

Gordon takes the league lead in receiving yards despite missing two games with a suspension.

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon continued his torrid run against the New England Patriots in Week 14. Gordon finished with seven catches for 151 yards and a touchdown, breaking Calvin Johnson's record for most receiving yards in a four-game stretch. He also added a 34-yard run for good measure.

Gordon entered the game having gotten more than 200 yards in two straight games, becoming the first receiver in NFL history to do so. He nearly did it again this week. Gordon's biggest play came late in the third quarter, when he roasted Aqib Talib and raced down the field, beating the entire defense for an 80-yard touchdown.

Gordon is now up to 1,400 receiving yards on the season, taking over Johnson as the league leader. The amazing part is that he's leading the NFL despite missing two games with a suspension. He's also producing with Brandon Weeden, Jason Campbell and spare parts throwing the ball to him. The Browns are looking smarter by the week for not trading Gordon at the deadline -- he's a legitimate cornerstone for the offense.
