Grantham spent a while talking with the media on Wednesday as the Georgia staff discussed National Signing Day, according to Seth Emerson. But Emerson described Grantham as “coy” and said he didn’t say too much.
Emerson did note that Grantham said he "fully expects" to be at Georgia next season but also did not deny that he will interview with the New Orleans Saints and Philadelphia Eagles.
Rob Ryan is also considered to be a candidate for the Saints' defensive coordinator position, but Grantham is reportedly in line to interview before the former Cowboys' defensive coordinator. The Saints fired Steve Spanuolo after the team allowed an NFL record 7,042 yards of total offense this season.
Chip Kelly, meanwhile, has reportedly been interested in adding Grantham to his staff for the past few weeks. The Georgia defense performed well this season and will be sending multiple prospects to the NFL Draft this season.
