Former Tennessee tight end Jared Cook has multiple suitors on the free agent market with the St. Louis Rams reportedly in the lead, according to Jim Wyatt of the The Tennessean.
Jared Cook rumors: Rams the reported favorite to sign TE
Jared Cook was expected to be one of the most sought after tight ends on the free agent market and St. Louis is reportedly the favorite to land the athletic tight end.

Cook caught 44 passes for 523 yards last season, but generated a lot of interest on the free agent market for his rare combination of size and athletic ability. The 6'5 248-pound tight end started just 10 games during his Titans career, but is considered to be one of the top tight ends on the open market.
While the Rams may be the leader, they are not the only team in pursuit of Cook. The Miami Dolphins and Cleveland Browns are also reportedly interested, while a return to the Titans remains a possibility. According to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports, Cook could end up in Miami with multiple teams thinking they are in the lead.
The 25-year-old Cook was originally a third round pick of the Titans in the 2009 NFL Draft. He’s caught 131 passes for 1,717 yards during his career while scoring eight touchdowns.
