Edit: While other reports indicate Cribbs and the Cardinals are finalizing a deal, Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports tweeted Cribbs does not have a deal with Arizona and the two sides are not close.
Josh Cribbs has deal with Cardinals, per report
Attempting to keep up with the arms race in the NFC West, the Cardinals are finalizing a deal with wide receiver Josh Cribbs.

The Arizona Cardinals are close to a deal with free agent wide receiver Josh Cribbs, according to Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer.
According to Cabot, the two sides are close to a deal with a few minor details still to be worked out. The contract should be finalized as soon as Thursday morning. The deal with Arizona ends Cribbs' eight-year career with the Cleveland Browns. Late Wednesday night, Cribbs tweeted a message wishing the best to the city of Cleveland and the Browns.
Cribbs caught just seven passes last season, but remains one of the most dangerous returners in the NFL. He averaged 27.4 yards per kickoff return last season, the fourth-highest average in the NFL. His 12.0 yards per punt return were the sixth-highest in the league. Cribbs has 11 career return touchdowns, including eight kickoff return touchdowns.
While Cribbs is likely to return kickoffs in Arizona, it remains to be seen if he will overtake the punt return duties from Patrick Peterson. Peterson proved to be a dangerous punt returner two seasons ago when he averaged 15.9 yards per punt return and scored four touchdowns.
