Utah defensive tackle Star Lotulelei worked out for NFL scouts at Utah’s pro day on Wednesday, and he posted some impressive numbers.
Utah pro day results: Star Lotulelei posts impressive numbers
Star Lotulelei could be rising up draft boards after an impressive performance at Utah’s pro day.

After not being able to workout at the NFL Scouting Combine due to a medical condition, Lotulelei went through all of the drills Wednesday. He completed 38 reps on the bench press, which would have tied him for the highest total at the combine. Lotulelei posted a 30-inch vertical while running the three cone drill in 7.76 seconds. He also posted a 4.65 second short shuttle.
Lotulelei originally was not scheduled to run a 40-yard dash, but decided to participate at the last moment. He was officially timed at 5.19 seconds, although other scouts had him timed as low as 5.07, according to Tony Pauline of Draft Insider.
Lotulelei wasn't the only Ute to impress at the pro day, as cornerback Reggie Topps also performed well. Topps completed 17 reps on the bench press, jumped 38 inches in the vertical and posted a 9'10 broad jump. He was also one of three Utes to run the 40-yard dash in under 4.3 seconds. Topps was timed at 4.26 seconds, while Lewis Walker clocked in at 4.27 seconds, according to Thomas Karren of Inside the Utes. Ryan Lacy was the fastest of them all, recording a time of 4.16 seconds.
