Kansas City Chiefs tackle Branden Albert is on the trading block, and the team is looking for a second-round pick in the 2013 NFL Draft as well as a pick in next year's draft, according to Adam Schefter.
Branden Albert rumors: Chiefs want 2013 and 2014 draft picks for tackle, per report
Kansas City placed its franchise tag on Albert earlier this offseason and now it is reportedly trying to deal him to another team.

The Chiefs placed their franchise tag on Albert, which means he is set to earn $9.8 million in 2013. But Kansas City may be headed for a cheaper solution, Arrowhead Pride believes, at left tackle by dealing Albert and selecting a top prospect at his position in the 2013 NFL Draft.
Albert, who has spent his entire career in Kansas City, was originally a first round selection by the Chiefs in 2008. Albert had an impact right off the bat, and in five seasons with the team, he has appeared in a total of 73 games, 71 of those as a starter.
