On Monday, King wrote he believes Revis will be traded to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers before the NFL Draft in April. With salary cap space and a need at cornerback, Tampa Bay emerged as the front-runner to land Revis recently and King believes a deal could happen sooner rather than later. New York is believed to be seeking two high draft picks in return. If New York is willing to accept 2014 draft picks, Tampa Bay might be willing to part with its first- and second-round picks. Nnamdi Asomugha was once in the discussion with Revis as the best cornerback in the NFL and, like Revis, Asomugha could be headed to a new team soon. Asomugha has narrowed his potential suitors to New Orleans and San Francisco and according to the latest report from the NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Asomugha is "torn" on which team to pick. The Saints are reportedly pushing hard to land the 31-year-old cornerback, but as Niners Nation wrote, Asomugha could take his time in making a decision. Revis and Asomugha aren't the only cornerbacks in limbo as free agent Terence Newman is working on finalizing his deal as well. The only problem for Newman is his agent has apparently gone MIA. Newman put out an APB on Twitter on Monday, asking his agent Ben Dogra to call him to finalize his deal. Newman is expected to either re-sign with Cincinnati or sign with the Oakland Raiders.

Anthony Spencer didn't hit the open market as expected after being franchised by the Cowboys, but that doesn't necessarily mean he won't come away with a long-term contract. Spencer and the Cowboys are reportedly negotiating a multi-year deal. The proposed deal would give Spencer the long-term deal he was seeking while also creating some salary cap space for the Cowboys. While Spencer may be close to landing a multi-year deal, free agent James Harrison has not had much luck drawing offers on the open market. Without much interest around the league, Harrison's agent said he wouldn't rule out a return to Pittsburgh. The Steelers released the 35-year-old Harrison earlier this month to create salary cap space. Although he's not currently a free agent, Carson Palmer could soon be looking for a new team. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Palmer is "highly unlikely" to restructure his contract. If that is the case, the Raiders could end up releasing Palmer rather than paying him his $13 million 2013 base salary.
