With under one month until the 2013 NFL draft, the pace of free agency has slowed to a crawl. Major signings are gone, teams are running out of salary cap space, and it’s here where organizations are trying to add the last pieces to their puzzle -- all while preserving as much money as possible. There may be mostly rumors in Thursday’s free agent wrap-up, but they could have big implications come the regular season.

The flurry of activity is over, but veterans are still trying to find teams late in free agency.

Osi Umenyiora appears to be the veteran sounding board for pass rushers, and now he's headed to Atlanta opportunities have opened for other players. Dwight Freeney was a somewhat-surprising cut by the Indianapolis Colts, and now he's looking to pick his spot. Reportedly choosing between the Denver Broncos, Detroit Lions, and Miami Dolphins, he has the opportunity to find himself on one of the AFC's elite, replacing Elvis Dumervil, or heading to an under-achieving team with plenty of potential in 2013.
Washington has been very quiet in free agency due to their salary cap constraints, but they added some rotiational pass rush help in Tapp. It's not a move that resonates, but bolsters the Redskins' depth. Finishing with 26 tackles and 0.5 sacks last year in a rotational role, they'll hope he returns to the form Tapp showed in Seattle, where he totaled 13.0 sacks in two years -- as unlikely as that is.
The former West Virginia quarterback is looking to re-enter the NFL, and while this desire hasn't been realized yet, he is drawing a step closer. Today White worked out for the San Francisco 49ers. They're set at quarterback with Colin Kaepernick, but if White can show that he's improved as a passer he'd be an almost-perfect backup to Kaepernick where the offense wouldn't need to be reworked in a pinch. Both have similar mobility, and ability to gash defenses on the ground.
Mike Tomlin's team are in need of a new running back, and with the New York Giants headed in a different direction, it opens the door for Bradshaw. Finishing with over 1,000 yards rushing and six touchdowns in 2012, it appears the only things standing in the way of him joining the Steelers is a physical.
